Back in the Saddle Again - Yee - Haa

OK.. So Sorry I have been way past due to post to this Blog for the Fil-Am Library (FAL) ....
This will be a short highlight re-cap and I'll go into more detail later on each event below:

• June 2006 - Poster Session of FAL as part of the Diversity Fair for the ALA Annual Conference in New Orleans.
• June-July 2006 - Roundtable Presentation of the FAL during the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) Conference in Honolulu, HI.
• August 2006 - UCLA Campbell Book Collection Competition Exhibit at the FAL and Bus Tours of Historic Filipinotown by FAL.
  
• August 2006 Diversity Summit for Recruitment in the Information Professions held at UCLA.
• October 2006 - Poster Session of FAL at the 1st Joint Conference of Librarians of Color (JCLC) held in Dallas, TX.
• October 2006 - Bus Tours of Historic Filipinotown by the FAL.
  
• October 14, 2006 - Filipino American Library GALA is a Success (see photos)
• January 2007 - Emerging Leader Program participant at the ALA Midwinter Conference in Seattle, WA.
• March 3 & 4, 2007 - FAL is a co-sponsor for the "Memories of Philippine Kitchens" Book Launch in Los Angeles.
